Our History
Our company was established by its president, who started his career in mechanical and electrical systems in 1966 with the U. S. Navy. He trained to operate and maintain submarine naval nuclear power plants for over eight years, followed by subsequent work in fields related to HVAC and building systems until 1996 when EDI, Inc. was formed.
We have a significant amount of experience for a rather young company. Our team consists of six technicians with an excess of 55 years of extensive experience and formal training. Our initial desire for energy management projects has led to an extension of our capabilities due to customer requests for us to maintain, repair, and upgrade all manner of HVAC and electrical equipment.
We pride ourselves in our professionalism from a fully uniformed crew, to modern clean vehicles and an excellent safety record, along with ongoing training in the areas of energy management and mechanical repairs. All of our technicians either hold a Journeyman’s license or are registered in the apprentice programs in both Ohio and Kentucky.
