This is a single-story office building located in Blue Ash, OH. The controls and energy management system is comprised of a Johnson Controls Facilitator System that operates the large rooftop air conditioning and the building boiler systems. This building was faced with having to replace failed controls on their rooftop unit that was just over a year old. We were able to replace the failed system for less than the manufacturer's cost and solve an indoor air quality problem that persisted after a particularly hot, humid summer. This system was later modified to include building static pressure control and steam converter control. This system also allowed for energy savings by scheduling temperature setbacks during non-occupied times.
